Thousands of dollars are set to be raised for the Kempsey Hospital Maternity Ward on Saturday June 9 when Kempsey Heights Bowling Club hosts its annual bowls fundraiser for Give Me 5 For Kids.

The team at Kempsey Heights Bowling Club smashed their target last year and raised an impressive $17,400 and they are hoping to surpass the total in 2018.
The community can still enter a team into the competition to help raise money and have fun at the same time.
There will also be an auction on the day with items donated from various local business.
A handmade coffee table and jewelry box are two of the many items that will be up for grabs.
It costs $50 to enter a team of four players with registration closing at 4pm on Friday.
