Daphne Priestley and Jeff Wainwright took at the Isla Campbell Trophy as best local pair in the recent Nambucca Valley Bridge Club Annual Bridge Congress.

The congress was attended by 100 bridge players from around NSW and Queensland and is proving to be another tourism stimulus for the area.
Congratulating the pair, club president Richard Levy said how terrific it is that Daphne, who is now in her 80s, has the talent, stamina and drive to compete at such a high level.
“Bridge is mentally challenging, a great retirement hobby and provides lots of social interaction with people from all walks of life whilst being so inexpensive,” he said.
