New cycle lanes to improve Kempsey Shire road safety

Road shoulders on Macleay Valley Way, between Bellimbopinni
and Plummers Lane, have undergone resurfacing and widening to improve
driving conditions. Council will soon begin line marking and will introduce a
dedicated cycle lane.

Works to improve safety for drivers while creating dedicated cycle lanes are nearing completion in parts of north, south and west Kempsey, as part of Kempsey Shire Council’s extensive road rehabilitation program.
