The library, together New Horizons will be holding a Craft in the Park workshop at Wigay Aboriginal Cultural Park on Sea St, Kempsey as part of local NAIDOC Week celebrations.
Participants will be able to learn more about native plants and have a go at some weaving on Thursday July 12 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The event is open to all ages with light refreshments provided.
Kids will be able to learn more about bees at a workshop hosted by Mid North Coast producers Sven and Ana from Amber Drop Honey.
The Wonderful World of Bees workshop will give kids an opportunity to take a look at the bees close up (safely behind glass), take part in some arts and crafts and have a taste test of some of Amber Drop’s delicious honey.
The workshop will take place on Thursday July 19 from 10:30am to 12pm at Kempsey Shire Library. Bookings for this event are essential.
