This followed an incident earlier the same evening outside a licensed premises.
The man underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station and returned a high range reading of 0.153.
He was charged with the offence and had his licence suspended. He was released on bail to appear at Macksville Local Court on July 19. Inquiries are continuing.
Incorrect number plates
On Monday morning police issued a 27-year-old driver with a court attendance notice after he was stopped along Old Coast Rd, North Macksville, driving an unregistered car with number plates that did not belong to it attached.
Further checks on the driver revealed he had never held a driver’s licence.
He will appear before Macksville Local Court on August 8.
Swapping places
A 32-year-old driver was arrested in Bismark St, Nambucca Heads, in the early hours of Saturday morning following a minor collision with a parked vehicle.
The man is alleged to have driven from the scene after swapping places with the driver who caused the collision. He underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station and returned a high range reading of 0.160.
He was issued with a licence suspension notice and a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 7 for the offences of high range PCA and ‘responsible person not disclose driver’.
Domestic arrest
Following a domestic dispute at a Nambucca Heads address police arrested a 36-year-old man on Friday morning.
He was charged at Macksville Police Station with breaching an AVO and breaching bail. He was released on conditional bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 9.
Family dispute
Police arrested a 26-year-old man at a Bowraville address on Tuesday night following a family dispute in which a vehicle was damaged.
The man was charged at Macksville Police Station for the offence and released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 26.
