Mid North Coast authors Fiona McArthur, Annie Seaton, Jenn J McLeod, Tamara McWilliam and Shannon Garner as well as Bronwyn Parry from the New England area will visit the library as part of the Christmas in July – A Feast of Authors literary event.
The event will see each of the authors discuss their careers and the inspirations behind their latest books. Residents will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A with the panel while enjoying a delicious morning tea.
The event has been made possible due to a partnership between Kempsey Shire Library and author Fiona McArthur.
Fiona, who recently retired after working as a midwife in Kempsey for 33 years, has been a published author since 2001 and has written 42 novels.
She will be speaking about her latest book, Mother’s Day, at the event. The book details the story of a rural midwife, a young mum and the importance of family.
A Feast of Authors will be held at Kempsey Shire Library on Wednesday July 25 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Due to limited seating capacity, bookings for this event are essential. To RSVP please contact the library on 6566 3210 or send an email to: kempsey.library@kempsey.nsw.gov.au
