The Magpies enter the contest full of confidence after they produced their best performance of the season in a 34-26 victory over the South West Rocks Marlins on Saturday.
The Magpies suffered two losses against the Blues when they met in the regular season but Magpies coach Bo Wilson is confident his side can go all the way after they lifted in their elimination final against the Marlins.
“We played our best game of the season by far,” Wilson said.
“If we play like that every week then I know we are capable of winning the premiership.”
To do that, they will have to win their next three games while facing elimination in all of them.
First up, is the Blues, who will be out for vengeance after suffering only their second loss of the season.
The Blues surprisingly fell 22-14 to the Laurieton Stingrays but they get a second chance at the cherry after finishing in the top three.
If the Magpies earn the win over the Blues on Saturday, they will advance to face the losing side of the Long Flat Dragons and the Stingrays in a preliminary final.
The winner of the preliminary final will advance to the grand final.
