Kempsey Saints Green finished the regular season as the minor premiers and have the benefit of a week off this Saturday and they are only one win away from claiming a grand final spot.
The Macleay Valley Rangers, who finished in third place, will be in action on the road against Port United in a major semi-final.
It isn’t an elimination final, with the losing side given a second chance while the winning team will advance to face off with Kempsey Saints Green for a spot in the grand final.
Macleay Valley and Port United split their meetings this season.
Rangers claimed a 2-0 victory when the sides first met while United were able to turn the tables and claim a win by the same margin when the sides clashed a fortnight ago.
Macleay Valley peaked mid-season but have dropped off recently, suffering a loss in two of their last three games.
However, the side will be hopeful of recapturing their best form when they travel to Port Macquarie this Saturday.
Meanwhile Kempsey Saints White, who finished in fifth position, will fight to extend their season when they do battle with the defending premiers the Wauchope Waratahs in an elimination final.
The match will be a rematch of the final round of the season, a game which saw the Waratahs escape with a 2-1 victory at home while Wauchope also won the match earlier this year 3-1.
However, prior to the recent narrow loss, Kempsey Saints White entered the match on a two-game winning streak.
While White will enter the match up with the Waratahs as underdogs, they are capable of causing an upset.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 12.45pm at Dixie Park and it will be followed by the Rangers and Port United clash at 2.30pm at the same location.
