Rangers held a 1-0 lead late in the game but controversial decisions went against them and swung the momentum of the match.
The Rangers face off with the defending premiers Wauchope at home.
Wauchope’s premiership defence stayed alive after they held on in a 3-2 win over Saints White.
Wauchope raced to an early 3-0 lead but White fought their way back into the contest.
However, they weren’t able to produce the miracle and their season came to an end.
