Creedence Donovan and Kurt Teege have been training hard to prepare for the event.
Hudson’s Gym trainer Gordon Lennon is proud of the boys efforts and is expecting them to contest for the title.
“The two boxers have worked hard and are a good chance of winning the Golden Gloves in their division,” Lennon said.
"They have been sparring well and I can see them getting better each training session.
“They are inexperienced but have shown a lot of potential and have developed their skills while training.”
The two fighters will be stepping into the ring for their first amateur fights.
Creedence will compete in the 48kg division and Kurt will fight in the 70kg division.
Lennon has also been impressed with junior Jazontae Vale, who has recently started training and has improved his technical ability.
