She heard about the plight of our farmers out west and just had to do something for them.
With the support of Bowra Central’s acting principal, Mr David Taylor, Holly decided the best course of action for our struggling farmers was to start a food drive down at the local IGA.
IGA manager, Abhi, and other staff were only too happy to help.
A “big box” has been placed at the entrance of the store so customers can add one extra non-perishable item and, when full, can be packed up and shipped off.
Holly checks on her little project everyday and has even spent her pocket money on some items for our farmers.
She would like to encourage other children to donate their pocket money for this worthwhile cause.
