The event has been organised by Real Futures in Kempsey and Blackfoot Projects and is all about bringing it back to grass roots and giving back to the Kempsey community.
There will be a range of activities to keep the kids entertained such as footy games, dances, free amusement rides, face painting, a Koori cook-off, language workshops, stalls and a Koori idol competition.
A sausage sizzle and food stalls will help keep everyone fed on the day.
Employment development specialist from Real Futures, Melissa Fernando, said the day has been organised to give back to the local community.
“Real Futures started here in Kempsey and this is a way we can show our appreciation and give back to the Kempsey community who have supported us,” she said.
There will also be performances by Ducky Dennis and Nova Gina to entertain the crowd next Friday.
Tank FM will also be broadcasting live from the event and will be announcing a special surprise on the day.
The Family Fun Day will kick off at 10am to 3pm at the Kempsey Racecourse.
