Garden Rambles in the Macleay is open to the public this Saturday and Sunday. You have the chance to pick up some spring plants at the plant stalls, and to relax and enjoy the atmosphere with morning and afternoon teas available.
The cost of entry is $5 to visit one garden and $25 for all seven, with the proceeds being kindly donated to the Kempsey PCYC, the Kempsey Hospital Auxillary and F.A.W.N.A.
The locations are spread across three areas of Kempsey, including the bonus of a stroll down Lord Street to enjoy the neighbourhood.
The garden in Yarravel features three 18-year old bromeliads, and there are three gardens at Dondingalong which are all splendid in their own way.
To help you plan your day:
- 14 Lord Street, Kempsey
- 72 Griffins Lane, West Kempsey

Tech savvy seniors classes
Ok seniors, here is an opportunity to help get you connected.
If you have no or limited experience in using technology - or if you would like to learn some new skills, the library is hosting The Tech Savvy Seniors program. This is a great incentive and is catering purely for seniors.
If you would like to feel more connected with your family and friends, then become Tech Savvy. These workshops will give you a good start to help you on your way.
If you would like information on the timetable and workshops, contact the Kempsey Library on 6566 3210.
