During the month of October, Leanne has also embarked on the Ocsober challenge and is abstaining from alcohol for 31 days.
“We are getting the message out there and hopefully raising funds for Life Education and the valuable work they do,” Ms Goggin said.
Ocsober is run by the team at Life Education, and all of the money raised will go towards funding education programs in schools.
Ms Goggin said children should be applauded for their healthy choices regarding alcohol and smoking.
“It has been reported there are less young children taking up smoking and drinking than ever before,” she said.
“Kids are making smarter choices.”
Ms Goggin has run the Healthy Harold program for the last 21 years, as part of her coordinator role at Life Education.
She is now visiting Macleay Schools and has recently been to St Joseph’s Primary School, South West Rocks, Gladstone, Smithtown, Kinchela, Bellbrook, Willawarin, Green Hill and Fredrickton Public Schools.
Ms Goggin said the main aspect of her job is to educate young children about active healthy choices.
“How incredible their lives can be when they make healthy and active lifestyle choices,” she said.
