The annual parade is organised by Carolyn Erickson, Judy Saul, Diane Latham and Barbara Beuzeville from the Hospice and they said the day is more than a fundraiser and is a chance to give back to the community.
“The support from the community who buy raffle tickets and support us is amazing. This is really a day to give back to the people who support us and give them a beautiful day,” Ms Beuzeville said.
Each year, from August to October, the Macleay Valley Home Hospice run a raffle for a lucky local to win a Les Graham painting, which is drawn at the Fashion Parade.
“It’s a way of saying a big thank you to all of our supporters.”
There was around 200 people in attendance on the day and the money raised will go towards helping palliative care patients at home.
“It was a extremely successful day. A lot of locals came to enjoy the day which was lovely,” Ms Beuzeville said.
“Every single year the event gets better and better.”
