Rovers and Nulla are stranded near the bottom of the ladder with one and two wins respectively this season.
Rovers’ only win this season came in round seven against Taree West, a side which has also only won one game.
Meanwhile Nulla earned their first win of the season in round two before they defeated rivals Rovers in round five. They have since gone on a three game losing streak.
Neither side has been helped by injuries, as Nulla’s captain Ben Taylor has missed the past three weeks and isn’t expected to return until after the Christmas break.
Rovers’ captain Danny Powick is also injured and he isn’t expected to return this season while opening batsman Callan McKiernan is six weeks away from a return.
