Rovers have bounced from their defeat against Nulla last week to earn a win over South West Rocks in their Macleay Valley Cricket Association first grade one-day match on Saturday.

Rovers’ 46-run victory was set up by Lachlan Munday’s (50) first innings batting performance. Paul Hutley (28), Bretty Hutley (16) and Brett Williams (unbeaten 15) also helped Rovers reach a total of 181 off their 35 overs.
In response, Brad Schubert (36) led the charge while Patrick Cotter (19) gave South West Rocks a glimmer of hope.
Josh Brenton was the pick of the bowlers for Rovers as he earned four dismissals and allowed 34 runs from his seven overs.
In the other first grade game, Nulla cruised to a dominant victory over Stuarts Point/Eungai.
Nulla were set a total of 113 to chase and managed to surpass the total in the 13th over for the loss of only one wicket.
Angus Crotty did the majority of the damage for Nulla with the bat as he finished unbeaten on 61.
