Pub won the toss and batted first against undefeated Scotts Head, finishing the 40 overs at 8/172. Joe Costa 72, Claye Cooper 26 not out and Nigel Wilbow 20 shone with the bat. Best bowlers for Scotts were Jason Borthwick 2/14 and Jake White 2/19.
in reply, Scotts were down to 10 men with one having to leave early, and after a fast start wickets started to fall. But Scotts managed to hold on and pass the score with just one wicket in hand, at 8/173. Best with bat were Ryan Gleeson 54, Logan Donovan 31, and Jason Borthwick 26 not out. With the ball Joe Costa took 2/33 and Jake Nicolas 2/28. Scotts Head won by one wicket.
Macksville Country Club v Nambucca Hotel
Hotel won the toss and batted first and were all out for 182 in the 40th over, Mick Townsend 72 and Jesse Allan 27. In reply, Country Club were all out for 83. Best Bowlers were Jesse Allan 5/21 and Mick Townsend 4/14. Nambucca Hotel winners by 99 runs.
Stacey Welsh reports – so bottom of the ladder Macksville Ex-services came up against Bowraville. Ex-Servos 8/83 off 19 overs. Best with bat Jya Welsh 21 and Darrell Welsh 10. For Bowra, G Brown took 4/28 off 8 and E Brown 2/25 off 5.
Bowraville fell five runs short in the chase, finishing all out for 78 after 21. For Bowra, Cody Tymerman made 23, L Gill 16 and B Ballanggary 16. Best bowling for Ex-services were Alex Hull 4/21 off 8 and Jya Welsh 4/12 off 5. Taybian Welsh and Travis Hayden took a wicket each.
Nambucca Hotel Colts had the bye.
