The family friendly day will include a number of activities for children, including free ice cream and the club is also aiming to have a jumping castle.
Entry fee into the event is free with the race club having alcohol and betting facilities available for those above the age of 18.
Kempsey Race Club president John Graham encouraged those looking for a fun day out to attend.
“It’s a cheap and exciting way to have a bit of fun in the holidays,” Graham said.
“It’s always great to see the local community and holidaymakers get around the event.”
There is expected to be seven races on the day with the club to take nominations next week.
The gates will open at 11am.
