Around 8pm on Friday night (January 11) an unknown person placed a glass bottle near the roller door of Col’s Motorcycles on Smith St and set it alight.

The fire self extinguished before police arrived.
There was no significant damage to the building or property except for burn marks on the outside of the roller door.
Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone who saw anything or has any information to contact Kempsey Police on 6561-6199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000.
