They have travelled countless kilometers to deliver parcels of food, clothes, toys and personal items to Manilla, Kootingal, Tamworth and surrounding areas.
There is still a dire need for more help in these areas and Felicity and her family have decided to hold a fundraising event next month to help our neighbours out west.
“We are currently organising a fundraiser Bash for the Dash to be held at the Garden Bar & Kitchen at Frederickton on March 22,” Felicity’s mum Tina said.
The event will be a 50s theme dance night and auction with all of the proceeds raised going towards purchasing food, water and stock feed.
Felicity’s mum Tina Brown said her daughter is excited for the event.
“She doesn’t really understand how big this has gotten and how many people want to help, but she’s very excited about it and wants to help.”
Felicity’s Drought Dash are accepting donations to be auctioned off on the night, if you would like to donate an item contact Tina on 0405-941-022 or Deb on 0417-266-693.
