Nationals Candidate for Cowper Patrick Conahan arranged the visit to showcase some of the Mid North Coast's iconic food businesses and attractions to Mr Feildel.
The celebrity cooked bacon and egg rolls for the Macleay Vocational College in South Kempsey and the students and staff were delighted by the visit.
Mr Feildel was very impressed by the quality of the Oysters and Meat at long standing Kempsey Butchers C P Ball Butchery in Belgrave St.
After sampling the products, Mr Feildel said Balls Oysters were "beautiful sweet muscle, i love it, gorgeous".
C P Ball Butchery's Geoff Ball was appreciative of Mr Feildel's thoughtful comments.
"Manu was very down to earth and was very pleased with the meat quality and loved the fresh oysters we processed," Mr Ball said.
"To have Australia's most recognizable chef visit the Balls Butchery store was certainly pleasing."
Mr Feildel also visited Cassagrain Wines and was the celebrity chef at the Stun Mullet Restaurant in Port Macquarie.
