Kempsey-Crescent Head's lead in the North Coast Surf Boat Series club championship has been reduced to eight points after Woolgoolga won the latest round held in challenging conditions at Bonny Hills on Saturday.

The two crews will battle it out for the title at the last round at Coffs Harbour on March 23.
Meanwhile Kempsey-Crescent Head will look to seal the title in four individual divisions while they have locked up the championship in the Masters 160s.
The 160s crew has been undefeated in the series this season and are nine points clear of the next best Woolgoolga.
In the tightly contested Open Men's division, the four crews are separated by just four points and the Kempsey-Crescent Head crew sits in second position as they trail Tugun by one point.
The Open Women have continued their resurgence after earning the victory at Bonny Hills and they will take a one point lead into the final round.
Kempsey-Crescent Head are represented by two crews in the reserve grade division and one of the crews has locked up second position.
The Masters 200s crew leaped into second position in their division after finishing in second on Saturday. The crew trails Macksville-Scotts Head by one point heading into the final round.
Surf Boat captain Scott Edwards was proud of the way the crews handled the tough conditions.
"The conditions were very challenging, it was pretty messy and there was a cross swell as well," Edwards said.
"I think we were the only crew who didn't end up with damaged gear."
Kempsey-Crescent Head's attention now turns to the state finals, which commences on Friday at Swansea.
The local club will be represented by the Masters 180s, who are fresh off a a gold medal win at the Australian Surf Rowers League last month, the Masters 220s, Open Women and juniors.
"The Masters 180s are a strong chance of a medal while the other crews are definitely a shot too," Edwards said.
"It's a bit of an unknown for the other crews but especially the juniors, some years it's really competitive and some years it isn't.
"It will be good to test the abilities of the crews against the best in the state."
Unfortunately the Masters 220s crew will be without Ross Allan, who broke a couple of ribs in training.
Kempsey-Crescent Head will also send crews to contest the Aussie titles later this month.
