It is a community enterprise run by Janet and Jono Granek that exists as a community space, where people can get together to learn and think, as well as share food.
"Jono and I are both really keen on the idea of a social business, one that contributes to the community," Janet said.
"That means many things including on a daily basis conscious about our waste and how we dispose of it to a longer term plan of donating our profits to charities."
Keen to support community initiatives, the couple are hosting a series of LASH talks (Learning About Scotts Head) and then Politics in the Hub.
Scotts Heads resident Michael Blockey is coordinating LASH, the first one of which is on Thursday, April 4 from 6.30pm.
"The first one will be on our ancient history with both a scientific and indigenous perspective," Michael said.
"John Schmidt will outline the formation of features in our landscape, like the headland, like Yarrahappinni, Warrell Creek and the Nambucca River, and then Michael Jarrett will continue with Dreamtime stories to explain how the Scotts Head headland got here and more."
The talk is free but for $29 you can partake of an Italian-style grazing table with dessert/tea/coffee or just dessert/tea/coffee for $12.50. The talk will start at 7.30pm finishing around 8.30.
To book simply call Jono or Janet on 6569 7056.
