"We have one less crew then them and with double points on the line, it will be hard to hold on and claim the title," Edwards said.
"But we plan to go there and give it our all. First place is on the line for a lot of the crews in their divisions so we are hoping to have a lot of success on Saturday.
"We want to maximise our positions in the individual divisions and hopefully that leads to getting the club overall championship."
Kempsey-Crescent Head are in contention to earn the top spot in five of the individual divisions, which includes the Masters 160s, a division which the local club has already locked up top spot after claiming first position in every round thus far.
The Masters 160s is the same crew which has won gold at the Australian Surf Rowers League and the NSW Surf Life Saving Championships in the past month.
The 160s crew is nine points clear of the next best Woolgoolga but will look to continue their dominance in the North Coast Surf Boat Series in preparation for the Australian titles the following week.
The Open Men's are also in a position to claim first in the tightly contested division.
The four crews in the division are separated by just four points and the Kempsey-Crescent Head crew sits in second position, as they trail Tugun by one point.
The Open Women have continued their resurgence after a slow start to the season.
They picked up a victory at the recent event at Bonny Hills and they take a one point lead over Woolgoolga into the final round.
The local club is also represented by two crews in the reserve grade division.
One of the crews is cemented into second position as they are unable to improve or move into a lower position.
Meanwhile the other crew in reserve grade, which was formed halfway through the season, is in the middle of the pack.
The Masters 200s crew leaped into second position in their division after finishing in second at Bonny Hills.
The crew trails Macksville-Scotts Head by one point heading into the final round.
The majority of the top spots in each division are still up for grabs, which will make for an interesting and exciting final day.
The presentation and season awards will be presented after the event.
