Darcy, who is in Year 10, joined a group of north coast high school students and represented the region in Junior Boys Singles and Doubles.
Darcy made it through to the third round in his singles and through to the semi-finals in doubles. These were his best result to date at the state level as his game improves over time.
Like many other Bellingen High kids, Darcy is involved in a lot of sport outside of school time, and he plays many tennis tournaments throughout the year.
But one of his highlights is being able to represent Bellingen High at the state CHS tennis championships. It is a privilege that he really values and knowing he is representing his school always gives his game that extra edge.
