The side was in finals contention after a mid-season resurgence but unfortunately they left their run too late.
They now sit six points behind the fourth placed Port Macquarie Pirates and they won't be able to move above them regardless of their result in the final round of the regular season.
Rovers bowler Matt Scott said they still want to finish the season on a high.
"The goal will be to finish with a win whether it be big or small. It's always good to finish the season with a win," Scott said.
"This season has had its ups and downs."
Scott said the key to earning the win will be in the field.
"If we can bowl well, work hard in the field we should see victory," he said.
"We have a very capable batting line up that could easily post more than 200.
"If we can put it all together, we will walk away with the win."
