The future of the Kempsey Show has been secured for a further three years after Coastline Credit Union signed on as a major sponsor for the show.
Director of the Kempsey Show Society Stewart Witchard said the three-year partnership will be a huge boost for the event.
"The Kempsey Show is an event for everyone in the community and this sponsorship will allow us to add more attractions to the show and create a bigger event for the community," he said.
"Having Coastline support and get behind us is amazing and it means we can continue to provide a great show for locals."
General manager of Coastline Credit Union in Kempsey, Peter Townsend, said it was a great opportunity to support a local event.
"Being a local business there is a want to support local events and the opportunity came about that the Show Society needed a major sponsor and we're more than happy to do it," he said.
"The Kempsey Show has a proud tradition in the Macleay Valley and Coastline is honoured to be their major sponsor for the next three years."
Kemspey Showgirl for 2018, Elizabeth Jackson, said the Kempsey Show has a strong tradition in the community and to see it continue will benefit the Macleay Valley.
"It's exciting to be able to continue the tradition of the Kempsey Show. The show is the heart of the community and Coastline securing the event for another three years is amazing," Ms Jackson said.
The Kempsey Show will run from Tuesday April 30 to Wednesday May 1 this year.
President of the Kempsey Show Society, Donna Clarke, said there are a number of big attractions heading to the show this year.
"There's a lot to be excited for, we're going to have the first Female Demolition Derby this year as well as the richest dog jumps on the Mid North Coast," she said.
"For the first time in 10 years we also have our 2018 Showgirl, Elizabeth Jackson, heading to the Sydney Royal Easter Show competition which is exciting."
