The two-day event is being held on May 25 and 26 at the Macksville Ex-Services Club where there will be an exhibition of over 600 photos.
Registered participants will have the chance to learn from keynote speakers including Warwick Williams (Fujifilm Australia's National Training Manager), while Derek Mobbs (Epson Australia) will teach how to print like a professional.
Sharon Lamb from Gladstone is a local photographer dealing with light painting techniques and Simon Whittaker from Coffs Harbour, is a creative, passionate portrait photographer specialising in Weddings.
Brendan Ray from Woolgoolga produces images for the advertising/fashion industry and Matthew Gilligan from Port Macquarie will also have the opportunity to inspire/guide the next generation of photographers.
Workshops include a portrait shoot; hip hop/take a pose with a Ballerina - learning about natural light and movement; Valley Tours hosted by local photographers; and a spectacular (hopefully) sunrise with ocean surf photographer and Nambucca local, Chris Hewgill.
Guest speaker on Saturday night is David Oliver, whose recognised by the photographic profession as a grand master of photography and is an ambassador for Nikon and Epson.
The Northern Zone Conference Awards will follow David's presentation at the dinner.
