The official sod turning of Sea Spirit Lifestyle's over 55s lifestyle community occurred at Belle O'Connor Street, South West Rocks on Friday April 12.

The ceremony was attended by Sea Spirit Lifestyle's CEO Cedric Rodrigues, South West Rocks CEO David Cunningham and Kempsey Shire Council mayor Liz Campbell.
Civil Construction on the $80 million development is scheduled to launch later this month.
The development is expected to be completed within five years, with 199 Hampton style homes to be built in the community.
A $4 million club house, bowling greens, croquet court, indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor pool, men's shed, caravan parking area, putting and chipping greens will also be available to residents.
Twenty five houses are scheduled to be completed by Christmas this year.
The Sea Spirit Lifestyle's community is expected to provide a major boost to the South West Rocks economy.
