"Undertaking arts and craft is great for child development and helps them to practice important skills such as coordination, fine motor skills and understanding shapes and colours", Shire Librarian Jill Haynes said.
In addition to the regular art and craft activities these holidays, Bellingen Library will also feature the keenly awaited annual ANZAC display facilitated by Kevin and Moira Franklin.
A highlight this year will be a mannequin wearing an Australian military nurses uniform from the conflict in Afghanistan. Throughout the day Kevin will be on hand to share his encyclopedic knowledge of military history and tell stories of the memorabilia on display. The display will be open from 10am to 3.30pm on Thursday April 18 at Bellingen Library.
