The Gladstone community gathered to pay their respects at the ANZAC Day service at the Gladstone Memorial Park today.

The service began at 11am, with a march down Barnard St.
The Kempsey Macleay RSL Club vice-president Darrell Crilley opened the commemoration service with the Prologue.
"On this day, above all days, we recall those who, in the great tragedy of war, gave their lives for Australia and for the freedom of mankind," Mr Crilley said.
Gladstone Public School's Skarlyte Bennett said the Prayer of Thanksgiving.
Charlotte McAlister from Smithtown Public School said the Prayer For The Queen.
Kinchela Public School's Maya Westerman said the Prayer For The Nation.
The service ended with the Ode, the Last Post and the national anthem.
