Ethan Thompson and Tirell Dungay will play for the Open Boys side while Justin Kelly, Shane Cladwell-Davis and Christopher Bull-Davis were picked for the Under-15s but unfortunately Christopher suffered a broken collar bone in the final minutes of a regular season match with the Kempsey Dragons and will be unavailable for North Coast.
The four students will compete against the Hunter region side in Coffs Harbour on Tuesday May 7 and selection into the Northern NSW team is up for grabs.
The students are hoping to put their best foot forward to earn the next level of representative honours but they all agreed they are keen to lace up the boots regardless of the result.
"We just love playing footy," Justin told the Argus.
"It will be another challenge and another step up to play representative footy but we are just excited to play."
Ethan, who plays five-eighth for the Mustangs Under-18.5s side, will take the field at centre while Tirell will play alongside him on the wing.
The pair, who played in different age groups growing up, have minimal game time together but are looking forward to lining up next to one another.
Meanwhile Shane will play at halfback and Justin in the centres for the Under-15s side.
The two play together in the Kempsey Dragons Under-15s side and have built a combination over the years.
"We play on the same side of the field and are accustomed to playing together so hopefully we can combine on the field for the rep team," Shane said.
The five students have also been playing in their respective age groups for Melville High School in the Under-14s Buckley and Open University Shield.
Both sides have reached the final to be played in Coffs Harbour on May 31.
The winning side will be crowned the North Coast champion and will advance to face schools from other zones.
