Bath finished the extremely tight regular season in third position, after losing only two matches in the second half of the competition.

Commane, who plays the goal shooter position, was a standout for Team Bath on their end of season run.

One of Commane's highlight performances came in a do-or-die match against London Pulse in the final game of the regular season.

A loss would have resulted in Team Bath dropping from third to fifth and out of a finals position, but Commane wasn't going to let that happen.

The shooter scored 54 of Team Bath's 72 goals as the side earned a comfortable 72-50 win.

"We had a lot of pressure on us knowing if we lost we would drop from third to fifth and miss the finals," Commane told the Argus.

"But we rose to the challenge. I was lucky enough to get player of the match but I definitely can't take all the credit.

"It was a full team effort. We were very clinical and sharp in attack and in defence we contested everything. We never let up."

After earning the victory, Team Bath's attention has now turned to the Manchester Thunder, who they will battle on the road in an elimination final this Sunday morning at 4am (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

Team Bath have secured two victories in the two games they played this year, including a 56-53 victory on their home court a fortnight ago.

Commane is looking forward to "silencing the drum".

"Beating them at home when we last played was incredible," Commane said.

"They have someone banging a huge drum the entire game which is so incredibly loud. We walked out of the stadium with our ears ringing.

"But as our coach said, 'we are here to silence the drum' and we did.

"Both games have been super physical so I am very thankful to be strong like my dad, Graeme Borger the Smithtown Tigers legend. He always tells me to stand strong and never let them push me around.

"I am usually the smallest in the circle at 180cm so having strength, a solid vertical jump and good footwork has its advantages."

While Commane is full of praise for her coaching staff and teammates, the 30-year-old has had an impressive individual season and she believes she's hitting her best form at the right time.

"The second half of the season was really strong. We had players back from injury so we were able to run out with a full squad," she said.

"Individually, I think I have hit form at the right time. My body is feeling good, I am shooting at a high percentage and gelling with my attacking unit."
