The amount stunned Kempsey Heights Bowling Club secretary manager Kerr Black, who was amazed at the generosity of the local businesses and community.
"It's a fantastic result. Better than we hoped for and once again we have grown on last year's efforts," Mr Black told the Argus.
"It's a huge success, all of the money will go directly to buying equipment for the Kempsey Hospital.
"This is a direct result of the generosity of local businesses and the community. We are fortunate to live in such a giving town."
Mr Black expressed his gratitude to everyone who was involved in making the GM5FK fundraiser special.
"I would like to thank Strawny and Krysti for all their assistance with the 2019 GM5FK campaign and the rest of the Triple M team for the amazing job they do year after year, event after event," Mr Black said.
"To our sponsors, without you guys this event would not be possible. Every raffle prize and all auction items were donated by businesses, family's and individuals in support of GM5FK and Kempsey Hospital.
"Thank you to our raffle ticket sellers Sue Wade and Floss Heuston, to Phil Russell and his team for a fantastic job on the barbecue, to all the members from our wonderful club for their support over the past six weeks and of course to our committee Brad Short, Terry Burley and Phillip Fritsch, who brought this all together for the benefit of our hospital."
The Kempsey Heights Bowling Club, in association with Triple M and GM5FK, hosted a lawn bowls competition on Saturday and Sunday. Twenty-eight teams of four participated in the Saturday competition.
An auction of donated items and raffle prizes were drawn on Saturday afternoon. More than $11,000 was raised at the auction.
"Everyone had a lot of fun on the greens playing bowls, with some people dressing up in funny outfits with wigs for the occasion," Mr Black said.
"We also had a lot more people turn up just for the auction - the club was packed."
The winner of the Business House Perpetual trophy was Dave Minter Tractors while the Macksville Mongrals defended their title and took out the Give Me 5 For Kids Bowling Club trophy for the second straight year.
