Big 7 Travel compiles lists of the best food, hotels, and travel destinations for their audience who are keen to experience the best of the best.
Blackfish Coffee has made it onto the list, along with espresso bars in Sydney and Byron Bay.
"I'm really stoked. It's great recognition, we've worked really hard especially over the last 18 months to improve," owner Justyn Hope said.
"For us, coffee is the number one thing to get right."
Justyn and his partner Erica Bellis have been running Blackfish Coffee for four years and said they have built a strong customer base during that time.
"The locals are very supportive and all of the holidaymakers keep coming back and supporting us as well.
"Being a part of the community is something that's important to us."
Blackfish Coffee support the local Nippers, the Surf Club and can always be found down at the Point when a surf competition is on, keeping the crowds caffeinated. They also invite local artists to help add colour to the shop and have a little library for people to borrow books while enjoying their coffee.
"We want to be more of a destination and not just a place to grab a coffee. We want it to be a good experience for everyone," Justyn said.
The staff at Blackfish Coffee have worked together to ensure their product is of a high standard.
"All of our staff are locals and some have been with us since the beginning, they've been a really great team," Justyn said.
"We're always striving for improvement and being recognised like this is a big boost for us."
