To improve the long term management of our unique environment, council is developing a Biodiversity Strategy. The strategy will set the direction and actions for managing significant ecosystems, ecological communities and high value habitats throughout the shire into the future.
Council would like to invite the community to give their input on planning for biodiversity conservation in the Bellingen Shire. To get involved, you can access the project survey on council's community engagement platform Create: https://create.bellingen.nsw.gov.au
