"There was a loud buzz of conversation and joy in the hallway as past and present members greeted each other" club president Robin Norton said.
"Some past members travelled interstate to be at the reunion."
The club gave a significant donation to Macleay Vocational College to assist in the training of students from Years 9 to 12 who have fallen out of mainstream education for a variety of reasons.

"The Rotary Club of Kempsey West wanted to make an important contribution to an organisation that is doing a great work in educating young people in Kempsey as the club celebrated 50 years of voluntary work. Members were delighted to see Mark Morrison's surprise in receiving the club's donation," Ms Norton said.
"The club has made previous donations over the years to the Macleay Vocational College.
Member for Cowper, Pat Conaghan, also addressed the gathering and described his first week in parliament.
Kevin Farrawell, to his complete surprise, received a sapphire Paul Harris fellowship pin for his 49 years membership in the club.
"Kevin has always been involved in every local Rotary Kempsey West project and is extremely community minded," Ms Norton said.
