The Gordon Park area not only presents a bushfire hazard but is a health hazard, with the unchecked habitation of flying foxes. Business owners in Bowra St complain about the stench wafting up from this area.
I think it is imperative that the Rural Fire Service, the Health Department and council work together to cut down large native trees and clear unchecked undergrowth which presents an increasing bushfire hazard.
