Bowra's Big Day is shaping up to be an unmissable event so make sure you note Saturday, August 10 in your diary and head on over to the Verandah Town.
Bowra's Big Day is a joint initiative between Bowra's Chamber of Commerce and the Nambucca Guardian.
Karly Lane is the Chamber's Secretary and she says the event has taken on a life of its own and it's getting bigger every year.
There will be activities all the way up the Main Street from the RSL.
There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained with not one, but two jumping castles, face painting and a petting zoo.
Poison Apple will be putting on performances to delight the children with her Disney characters.
The shows will start at 10.00am and then again at 11.00am.
The Fire Brigade will also be out with their trucks.
For motoring enthusiasts, two car clubs will be on display, one from Coffs Harbour and the other from Kempsey.
The Military Museum will also be having a display.
Last year Bowra was buzzing but this year, the event is going to be even bigger and better.

In all there will be 20 stalls to browse, you are sure to pick up something unique.
It's also not too late to book a market stall, there's a great long street where more stalls can be accommodated.
With the forecast set for sunny, the shoppers will be out in force.
As Bowra is affectionately known as "The Verandah Town" so come rain or shine you can stroll around the town in comfort.
The Community Markets will also be on in the Community Hall.
To add atmosphere, there will be two buskers performing but there is room for more performers. If you feel like entertaining the crowds, head to the Bowra Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page.
"It's a great opportunity to come to Bowra and see what's changed," says Karly.
"The new Chamber committee are breathing a bit more life into the place," she said.
All this is just an easy 20-25 minute drive from either Nambucca or Macksville.
It's going to be a great morning, so bring a friend, pack a shopping bag or two and head out to Bowra for bargains, local produce, entertainment, delicious food and more.
