The tight-knit performance troupe scored the coveted golden buzzer and a one-way ticket to the live semi-finals.
Celebrity judges Shane Jacobson, Nicole Scherzinger, Manu Feildel and Lucy Durack were amazed by the dance group's performance, with Manu hitting the buzzer at the end of the performance.
"Getting the golden buzzer was completely unexpected, it was like time almost stopped. There was a huge sense of accomplishment, it's definitely something I won't forget," Beau told the Argus.
"It's not only a great moment for me, but for the whole group. We worked really hard in rehearsals for the performance."
Beau grew up in Kempsey and trained at Garvey School of Dance before moving to the Central Coast and starting his full-time training at Lee Academy in 2016.
"I started dancing when I was around seven or eight at Garvey School of Dance in Kempsey, it's something I started at a young age and found a passion for and that passion has just grown over the years," Beau said.
"It's pretty surreal coming from a small town and now making it on national television. It's a phenomenal feeling actually."
The 21-year-old auditioned for Lee Academy's group Akrobatika earlier this year. Akrobatika is a group made up of a broad range of students from the academy at different levels of their training.
"Our youngest student in the group is 10 and the oldest is 29," Artistic Director at Lee Academy Jo Cotterill said.
Lee Academy had one dance group get through to the semi-finals of Australia's Got Talent in 2013 and a duo in 2016.
"The semi-finals is the furthest we've ever got on the show before, so we're hoping we'll have more luck this year," Jo said.
"Now we are working as hard as we can for the next performance. We want to make Australia proud and we want Beau to make Kempsey proud.
"Beau is an excellent example of what regional students can do, everyone in Kempsey should be so proud of him and what he's achieved."
In preparation for the live semi-finals, Beau said the group is currently working hard in rehearsals.
"We're training hard for our next performance. We're really excited for everyone to see what we've got coming up," he said.
"I really want to thank Maureen my dance teacher in Kempsey and Jo at Lee Academy, without their love and support I wouldn't be where I am today."
Australia's Got Talent returns on Sunday August 18 at 7pm on Channel 7.
