Liana Tyne and Madison Sinclair's first half strikes proved the difference as the Stingers weren't able to find an equaliser despite pressuring the Saints' goal for the majority of the second half.
"It was a pretty horrible match because of the strong wind," Saints player-coach Amy O'Brien said.
"I was just happy to come away with the win because anything could have happened in those conditions."
The result advances the Saints into another elimination final against the Camden Haven Redbacks this Saturday.
The meetings between the two sides in the regular season were high scoring, as the Saints escaped with a 4-3 win and later they played out a 3-all draw.
O'Brien claims her team needs to be up for the "mental challenge" to come away with the win.
"We are two very equal sides and I think if we can win the mental battle and keep a level head then we will win," she said.
"We know how to play so we just have to go out there and do it."
The fixture kicks off at the Vince Inmon Sporting Complex at 5pm this Saturday.
