Reilly, who grew up in South West Rocks before attending boarding school in Sydney to pursue a rugby career, was a regular on the wing for Randwick last season.
Reilly returned from an ankle injury to take the field in Australia's heartbreaking 24-23 Junior World Cup final defeat to France.
The Australian Rugby Sevens representative will gain plenty from the experience if he takes the field against the international side.
Argentina will use the trial match as preparation for the 2019 Rugby World Cup which kicks off on Friday September 20 in Japan.
The Pumas have drawn the difficult Pool C and will face England, France, America and Tonga.
The top two teams from each pool advance to the quarterfinals.
