Mustangs captain and lock forward Richie Roberts, fullback Owen Blair and backrower Chris Piper were selected into the 17-man merit team.
The trio were integral parts of the Mustangs' success this season, which included a minor and major premiership a year after the club was forced to withdraw from both first and reserve grade competitions.

The merit team is: fullback Matt Bridge (Wingham), wingers Owen Blair (Macleay Valley), Jarrod Robbins (Port City), centres Sam Watts (Wauchope), Ricky Arnell (Port City), five-eighth Danny Russell (Wingham), halfback Tristan Scott (Wauchope), lock Brendan Butler (Wingham), second rowers Mat Bird (Wauchope), Chris Piper (Macleay Valley), props Richie Roberts (Macleay Valley), Shannon Ellem (Old Bar), hooker Riley Glover (Forster-Tuncurry).
