I RECENTLY saw a clip on social media showing three young boys riding a motorcycle on Stuart St, Kempsey. What amazed me was the number of people who didn't think they were doing anything wrong.

They were unlicensed, on an unregistered bike, no helmets, on the wrong side of the road, weaving through traffic and running a red light.
We recently were driving on West St when one of them rode across the road while looking over his shoulder at his mates. He t-boned our vehicle (luckily no one was hurt).
When I rang to report this the officer said they get a lot of complaints about them and they would send someone if they got a chance as they were very busy.
I have also witnessed these boys trying to damage public and private property on numerous occasions.
Once I rang the police and waited for over 20 minutes before the boys disappeared and the police didn't arrive.
I feel something needs to be done before someone is seriously injured or killed.
The one who hit us was very lucky, just think what would happen if they rode in front of a truck.
These boys need to see that there are serious consequences for what they see as 'fun'.
