The three times the lifelong Roosters fan has attended the grand final, the Eastern Suburbs side has suffered defeat.
However, the three times Jason hasn't made the journey south, the chookies have won.
The superstitious K&J Superior Meats owner has opted to host a barbecue with friends on Sunday in hope the trend continues.
"Knowing I have never seen them win in person and they have always won when I haven't been there, made my decision to stay at home a little easier," Jason told the Argus.
"It will be just as good watching it with the family and friends at home."
Jason is confident his team will be the first side in the NRL era to win back-to-back premierships.
"I am confident we will win," he said.
"We have a better backline and more experience and it's Cooper Cronk's last game too."
Jason's final score prediction is a 24-10 victory for the Roosters.
Standing in their way is a dangerous and tough Raiders outfit who haven't won a premiership in 25 years.
Jason, who became a supporter because his Nana was Roosters mad, named his second son Eastern because he is so passionate about the Roosters.
Ironically, Eastern supports the Penrith Panthers while Jason's two other children, Hunta and Addline, support the Roosters.
