They have since built a fine replacement but with no on-site water or electricity, nor a barbecue. They also decided to demolish the adjacent toilet facility.
The smart thing would have been to build a new toilet facility before demolishing the existing one but no, they did not do that. We now have no toilet facilities whatsoever at Little Bay Recreational Area.
How stupid is that? I know that National Parks struggle financially but surely a bit of forward planning would not go astray. And the question could be asked - how did the builders get away without a site toilet during the construction of the new shed?
Shame on National Parks for leaving the so-called recreational area with no toilet facilities!
