Drew will return as the sole coach of the Marlins, after sharing the honours with Sam Howe for the past two season.
Drew, who also won a premiership with the Marlins in 2015, claims it was an easy decision to remain on as coach for the 2020 season.
"After we won the competition in 2015, a lot of senior players left the club and the Marlins almost folded," Drew told the Argus.
"I feel like I owe the club a little bit and I wanted to do my part in making sure it remains strong for years to come."
Drew acknowledges South West Rocks will have a target on their back next season but believes they will remain competitive.
"As with every footy club entering a new season, we will have turnover of players but I think the majority will be back," he said.
"It's too early to say but the goal will always be to finish in the top five, reach the finals and reassess as we go."
The Marlins' pre-season gets underway in the second week of January and Drew encourages anyone interested in playing rugby league for the Marlins next season to attend training on Tuesdays at Marlin Park in South West Rocks.
