The group of Year 5 and Year 6 students travelled to Forster last week for their first rehearsal of their performance.
School learning support officer at Aldavilla Primary School Katie James said the students are excited but nervous about their upcoming performance.
"They're very excited. They learnt a lot of choreography last week at the rehearsal but they handled it really well," she said.
"They're a bit nervous but are looking forward to it, a lot of choreography they learnt is different to what they're used to so it's pushing them as well."
The group learnt the final part of their performance last week and will now be working on perfecting the steps.
"We'll now be working on practicing what they were taught before the rehearsals in Sydney before the Schools Spectacular," Ms James said.
The Schools Spectacular will be held in Sydney on November 22 at 11am and 7.30pm as well as November 23 at 1pm and 7pm.
The Aldavilla Primary School students have been selected to perform alongside 5500 students from 370 schools across the state.
