The NSW RFS building impact assessment teams have been able to enter the fire ground to asses the damage to properties.
"There have been 15 homes lost by the fire and 28 out buildings," NSW RFS public liaison officer Dave Nicholson said.
"Our building impact assessment team have been able to go out there and asses the damage."
The Carrai East fire has burnt through 94,137 hectares and is still at a Watch and Act level.
"Firefighters are still working to get the fire under control. With the weather conditions easing, crews have been actively back burning to control the fire," Mr Nicholson said.
"It is expected to be warmer tomorrow but the wind isn't predicted to pick up so conditions will be good again for crews to actively work on the fire.
"The wind that is predicted for tomorrow shouldn't impact the fire and crews will continue to fight the blaze and bring it under control before we have another blow up day."
